After the United States Department of Justice announced that the “client list” for Epstein was not found, prominent MAGA figures including Laura Loomer called for the dismissal of Pam Bondi, the Attorney General of the United States.
On July 12th, local time, President Trump defended Bondi and stated that any documents related to Epstein were fabricated by his enemies, “Don’t waste your time and energy on people who don’t matter.”
According to reports from Politico and CNN, on the afternoon of July 12th, local time, Trump defended Bondi on social media platforms.
He wrote, “My ‘boys’ and sometimes ‘girls’, what happened? They are attacking Bondi, who works very hard, as a team, MAGA. I don’t like what’s happening now. We have a perfect government, which is being discussed worldwide, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to harm it, all for that never-going guy – Epstein. For years, it has been Epstein, over and over again.”
Trump insisted that such documents were actually fabricated by his enemies during the previous Democratic administration.
Trump urged FBI Director Christopher Wray to focus his attention on President Trump’s priorities, such as investigating voter fraud, political corruption, and the “rigged election” in 2020.
“Let Bondi do her job – she is great!” “Don’t waste your time and energy on people who don’t matter,” Trump wrote.
Wray earlier on July 12th posted on social media: “Conspiracy theories are never true, they’ve never been.”

To serve Trump was an honor, and I will continue to do so as long as he needs me.
Epstein was once a financial magnate, with close ties to many prominent figures in American politics and business. In July 2019, Epstein was arrested for allegedly conspiring to traffic and sexually exploit minors. He had created a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands as an “adult playground” for the privileged class, with numerous minors becoming victims.
However, just over a month after his arrest, Epstein suddenly died in prison. Although forensic evidence determined that Epstein hanged himself with a bedsheet, there were many questions and disputes surrounding his death.
On the eve of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Trump and his senior law enforcement officials promised to reveal the truth behind Epstein’s crimes and death, promising to release a supposed “client list.”
But things changed after taking office. On July 7th, U.S. Department of Justice officials stated that after a “thorough review,” they found no evidence of Epstein extorting celebrities, keeping a “client list,” or other documents worth disclosing. The FBI claimed Epstein’s death was suicide, dismissing conspiracy theories surrounding this notably tragic incident.
In a memo, the Department of Justice and the FBI wrote, “No credible evidence has been found to suggest that Epstein acted as part of his behavior by extorting celebrities, and we have not found evidence that would allow us to investigate uncharged third parties.”
The report sparked outrage and skepticism among many MAGA supporters, including Rumer, who called for the firing of Binder.
A Trump advisor described the release of the memo as a “political nightmare,” stating that it could have been released before the election, potentially fewer people would have seen it, or even after the mid-2026 elections.

Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, in his podcast, stated that Bondi “is covering up the crimes, using their own words to conceal very serious crimes.”
CNN noted that Trump himself ignored questions about the Epstein investigation and memos. On July 8th at the White House, he said, “I can’t believe you’re asking about Epstein right now. We’ve achieved great success, and there’s a tragedy of the Texas floods. Now asking about Epstein is like an insult.”
