According to statistics from the Fukuoka Region Meteorological Bureau in Japan, there have been a total of 2006 earthquakes with magnitudes reaching or above level 1 in the waters near Tuguhara Island in Kagoshima Prefecture between June 21 and 8 AM on July 14.
The meteorological bureau stated that although the number of earthquakes varies daily, it cannot be said that their occurrence has significantly decreased. It also called for continued vigilance against potential earthquakes with magnitudes around level 6 in the coming period. (Reported by He Xinlei)
