On July 13th, local time, the Attorney General of Israel, Gali Bachlaif-Miyara, announced that she would prosecute Yonatahn Urich, a consultant to Prime Minister Netanyahu, for allegedly leaking confidential documents from the Prime Minister’s office to German media.
According to statements from the Attorney General’s Office, Urich is suspected of multiple national security offenses, including intentionally transmitting confidential information to endanger national security, illegal possession of confidential information, and destruction of evidence.
