On the 13th local time, President Trump of the United States reiterated at Andrews Joint Base in Maryland that the United States will deliver “Patriot” air defense missiles to Ukraine.
Trump declined to disclose how many missiles would be sent, but indicated that some would be delivered.
In an interview with NBC on the 10th, Trump stated that the United States would send “Patriot” missiles to NATO, which in turn would distribute them to Ukraine. Trump also mentioned that the United States would provide weapons to NATO, for which NATO would cover the full cost. (Zhao Miao, CCTV)
