This marks the third submission by the Israeli side since the initiation of this round of negotiations regarding the proposed 60-day ceasefire period. Both previous plans have faced strong opposition from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), accusing the Israeli withdrawal plan as essentially a “redeployment plan for Israeli forces in Gaza.”
