The Federal Register of the United States announced that on July 1, the U.S. Department of Commerce initiated a 232 investigation into imported drones and their components. If the investigation determines that these items pose a threat to national security, the President may impose tariffs on them. Additionally, another notice from the U.S. indicated that it is conducting a 232 investigation into polysilicon and its derivative products.
