China Earthquake Network officially determined that an earthquake occurred at 15:07 on July 20th, in the far seas of the eastern coast of Kamchatka (52.90°N, 160.55°E), with a depth of 10 kilometers.
Previously, the China Earthquake Network had recorded an earthquake at 14:28, also in the far seas of the eastern coast of Kamchatka (53.05°N, 160.40°E), with a depth of 10 kilometers.
At 14:49, another earthquake was recorded in the far seas of the eastern coast of Kamchatka (52.90°N, 160.45°E), with a depth of 10 kilometers.
The Tsunami Warning Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources has judged based on preliminary seismic parameters that the earthquake might trigger local tsunami around the epicenter, but it will not affect the coastal areas of our country.
