In response to Trump’s stance on the Iran-Iraq conflict, Carlson criticized him. On June 18th, Trump stated, “He (Carlson) called me a few days ago to apologize because he thought his words were a bit too strong.”
The “Beast Daily” reported that in an interview published by Germany’s “Bild” on June 20th, when asked whether Trump’s statement was true or not, Carlson replied, “Well… not.” The “Herald Sun” also mentioned that Carlson expressed his willingness to apologize to Trump.
