The transfer market for Paris Saint-Germain is heating up. After insisting on not accepting a loan offer from Juventus without a mandatory buyout clause, Mounié decided to break the deadlock and push for his permanent transfer away from the club.
Juventus’ financial situation is poor, proposing a loan with a discretionary buyout clause, but PSG insists on a mandatory buyout.
To break the deadlock, a potential player swap deal has gradually emerged, namely the exchange of Mounié with Kulusimova. The transfer valuations of these two players are similar, between 40 million to 60 million euros, making this transaction financially reasonable and credible.
However, whether Kulusimova is willing to return to Ligue 1 after only one season in Serie A remains uncertain. Despite his marketability in France, he might prefer to continue accumulating experience and establishing himself in the highly competitive Italian league. Juventus currently has no intention of selling Kulusimova, who is considered one of the key midfielders.
