According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Ben Simmons is experiencing increased interest in the free agent market.
Windhorst mentioned that Simmons has had contact with the Kings, Suns, Knicks, and Celtics, with a decision expected to be made next week.
Simmons signed a five-year, $177 million contract with the 76ers in 2019, which began to take effect in 2020 and will expire in 2025. He played in 51 regular season games for the Nets and Clippers last season, starting in 24 of those games, averaging 22 minutes per game, scoring 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. His shooting percentage was 52.0%, and his free throw percentage was 72.7%.
