According to a message released by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on the 24th, an An-24 passenger plane belonging to Russia’s Angara Airlines was lost in the vicinity of the Tandzha Airport in Amur Oblast, approximately several kilometers away from the airport. the flight did not issue any fault signals during its journey.
The agency also cited the emergency services as saying
that the distribution of coniferous forests in the area made search and rescue operations more challenging.
The main search and rescue efforts are currently being carried out from the air.

the An-24 had prepared to land but failed the first attempt, then proceeded to a re-landing procedure, after which it went missing.
