Thailand’s military declared on the afternoon of the 24th local time that it had conducted precise strikes against multiple military targets in Cambodia and released a series of photos showing airstrikes on Cambodian military bases.
That afternoon, Thai military forces deployed four F-16 fighter jets to bomb several military bases in Cambodia. The military stated that this was the second round of airstrikes carried out that day, which resulted in the destruction of several Cambodian military targets. All F-16 fighter jets have now safely returned and landed.
Earlier on the 24th, the Second Military District of Thailand posted on social media that at 10:58 local time, Thai Air Force F-16 fighters destroyed two military facilities in Cambodia. Reports by Thai media claimed that “Thai airstrikes destroyed the command posts of the 8th and 9th Light Infantry Divisions of Cambodia.” In response to these reports, the Secretariat of the National News and Public Opinion Affairs Coordination Committee of Cambodia issued a statement saying that the reports were false.
