According to reports from Radio Ser, Real Madrid believes that Diaz can replace Bellingham and will not be on the transfer market.
There is no dispute or discussion within Real Madrid regarding Diaz. The player has overcome minor physical issues towards the end of last season and is in good health now. He has been integrated into Xavi Alonso’s rotation plan, with the club hoping he will become a key player.
However, Diaz hopes to further progress and become a more crucial member of the Real Madrid team, hoping for a turnaround with the arrival of a new coach. With Ancelotti stepping down and Alonso taking over, all players will start preparing for the new season from scratch starting August 4th.
From a club perspective, Diaz is currently the best candidate to temporarily replace Bellingham in the squad. For this reason, he is neither on the transfer market nor likely to be pushed onto it within the next month.
A source close to the player told “SER Deportivo” that Diaz is very much looking forward to his first full season under Alonso. Unlike other players who say “the summer is still long, everything is up in the air,” Diaz’s future seems very clear.
It is worth mentioning that Diaz’s contract renewal with Real Madrid is still subject to renegotiation. Both parties acknowledge this, but negotiations are expected to take place at some point in the future.
