On July 26th local time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it would initiate a series of actions aimed at improving humanitarian responses in the Gaza Strip.
The statement revealed that on the evening of the 26th, the IDF had resumed airdropping supplies to the Gaza Strip. On that night, supplies including flour, sugar, and canned food were airdropped by international aid organizations. Additionally, the IDF will also establish safe passages to ensure that United Nations convoys can safely deliver food and medicine to the people of Gaza.
The statement further stated that the IDF is prepared to implement a “humanitarian pause” in densely populated areas, while continuing to dismantle military infrastructure of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and strike its armed personnel in relevant combat zones.
In the declaration, the IDF mentioned that it would continue to carry out military operations against Hamas in Gaza. (CCTV News, Wang Yin)
