Kim Jong-un visits the Sino-Korean Friendship Tower
According to the North Korean media on the 27th, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Committee, Kim Jong-un, visited the Sino-Korean Friendship Tower in Pyongyang on the 26th to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the victory of the Korean Liberation War.
The report stated that a wreath was laid at the Friendship Tower in Kim Jong-un’s name. Kim Jong-un said, “We will never forget the combat achievements and deeds of the Chinese People’s Volunteers who were recorded in the great victory of the Liberation War of our country.”
North Korea’s Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee and the International Minister of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Cheng-nan, also attended the visit. (Xinhua News Agency)
