Kim Jong-un visits the Sino-Korean Friendship Tower
According to the North Korean media on the 27th, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Committee, Kim Jong-un, visited the Sino-Korean Friendship Tower in Pyongyang on the 26th to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the victory of the Korean Liberation War.
The report stated that a wreath was laid at the Friendship Tower in Kim Jong-un’s name. Kim Jong-un expressed, “We will never forget the combat achievements and merits of the Chinese People’s Volunteers recorded in the great victory of the Liberation War of our country.”
