In response to the latest trade agreement reached between the European Union and the United States, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Valve Tavioli, stated on the 27th local time that although the agreement has brought some peace to the situation, it does not offer any reason for joy as the tariff levels remain high. “Looking into the long term, this might not be a very sustainable agreement, but we will wait and see.”
Tavioli expressed his anticipation for the European Commission to provide detailed information about the content of the agreement and the EU member states’ thoughts on it.
