On July 28th local time, the Israeli human rights organization “B’Tselem” and the “Human Rights Doctor Organization” jointly released a report,
which for the first time explicitly accused Israel of implementing “genocide” in the Gaza Strip, claiming that Israel was systematically and deliberately destroying the Palestinian society.
The report stated that based on the public statements of Israeli high-level political and military leaders about attack targets, as well as the current humanitarian situation in Gaza, a clear conclusion can be drawn that Israel’s actions meet the legal definition of “genocide”.
Israel officials have not yet responded to the report’s contents.
Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu previously denied that Israel intended to create a famine in Gaza.
