The report mentioned that Putin received the medal during his inspection in Saint Petersburg. The head of the Russian Federation Maritime Committee, Patryushev, presented the medal and certificate to Putin. He stated that due to Putin’s contributions to the development and enhancement of Russia’s navy, the “Loyalty to the Russian Navy” medal was awarded to him. This year, Russia approved a new maritime development strategy, marking the first time in its history that navy planning has been set as a long-term strategy until 2050.
