References from the British Broadcasting Corporation’s website on July 28th reported that, accompanied by leaders of Thailand and Cambodia, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar announced on the 28th that both countries have agreed to end their hostilities. He stated that Malaysia and other ASEAN member states would assist in overseeing the ceasefire process.
It is noteworthy that observers from the United States and China were present at this meeting.
