According to Cailian Press on July 28th, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on the 27th that the United States has reached a tariff agreement with the European Union at a 15% tax rate. Trump mentioned that the EU will increase its investment in the U.S. by $600 billion, purchase American military equipment, and buy $150 billion worth of American energy products. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, indicated that both the EU and the U.S. have agreed to implement a unified 15% tariff rate, which will apply to all types of goods, including automobiles. Von der Leyen stated that these trade agreements with the U.S. will bring stability to the market.
