[Report] A shooting incident occurred in a high-rise office building in Manhattan, New York City, on the evening of the 28th. The incident resulted in at least five deaths and several injuries, including a gunman. According to an insider source cited by The Wall Street Journal on the same day, the victims included an executive from the American investment giant Blackstone Group.
Local media reported that the shooter, named Shane Tanaka, was 27 years old and entered the building at 345 Park Avenue Drive with a rifle around 18:30 Eastern Time. He began firing from the 33rd floor of the building and then took an elevator to the 33rd floor before committing suicide.
