The Nevada State Police confirmed on the 28th that a gunman opened fire on a crowd in Reno City, resulting in three deaths and three injuries.
Police officials stated at a press conference that the shooting occurred outside a large integrated resort and casino. A male suspect, upon reaching the valet parking area, pulled out a gun and began shooting at the crowd. He shot five people, two of whom died and two were seriously injured, while one was lightly wounded. The suspect then engaged in a shootout with security personnel before killing another person who was driving a vehicle.
Police officials mentioned that they arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the report. The suspect was arrested and hospitalized after being wounded during the exchange of fire with the police.
The identity of the suspect and his motives remain undisclosed by the authorities, stating that the case is still under investigation.
