The Nevada State Police confirmed on the 28th that a gunman opened fire in Reno City early that morning, resulting in three deaths and three injuries.
Police officials stated at a press conference that the shooting occurred outside a large integrated resort and casino. A male suspect, upon reaching the valet parking area, pulled out a gun and began to shoot at the crowd. He shot five people, two of whom died and two were seriously injured, while one was lightly wounded. The suspect then engaged in a gunfight with security personnel before killing another person who was driving a vehicle.
Police officials mentioned that they arrived at the scene quickly after receiving the report, and the suspect was arrested and taken to the hospital after being wounded during the exchange of fire with the police.
The identity and motives of the suspect have not been disclosed by the authorities, stating that the case is still under investigation.
