On the afternoon of July 28th, local time,
a shooting incident occurred at the intersection of Park Avenue and 51st Street in Manhattan, New York.
According to the latest police reports, the suspect armed with an AR-15 rifle has been subdued.
Four senior officials in New York City have confirmed that the suspect in the shooting has died from the gunshot wounds.
The Police Commissioner of New York City announced via social media platform X that the shooter is “an individual offender” and has been “deemed no longer a threat.”
