McMenamin stated, “He is full of energy for the opportunities at hand. When was the last time we heard LeBron’s thoughts nationally? Because Rich Paul issued a statement to Shams during LeBron’s option exercise, which roughly said, ‘We should make this team competitive. Otherwise, LeBron will realize he has little left in his career and we will prioritize finding an environment that wins.’ He is doing what he needs to do to create a winning environment for the Lakers next season. Today, he is training with trainer Chris Johnson and Marci, who is also a young player full of determination. When you are training with Marci, you better take it seriously; don’t look like a guy in his 40s because he can easily outmaneuver you. So, this is a good sign for the Lakers.
