On July 29th, local time, the Thai Ministry of Public Health released the latest developments from the border conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. The data revealed that
the current conflict has resulted in 15 deaths on Thai soil.
Conflicts have been ongoing between Cambodia and Thailand since the 24th, with both sides accusing each other of violating international law. On the 28th, Prime Minister Hunmanai of Cambodia and Acting Prime Minister Phatthawan of Thailand held a special meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to discuss the situation at their borders. Following the meeting, a joint press conference was held where both countries agreed to ceasefire.
