According to a report by China News Service citing the “Warzone” website on July 28th, during President Trump’s visit to the UK, he played golf in Scotland. Alongside him were a large number of Secret Service agents and a black Arctic Star Ranger X armored utility vehicle.
The “Beast Daily” among other American media referred to it as “Golf Number One” and described it as its “first appearance.” It is reported that after being equipped with armor protection kits, the vehicle can be protected against bullets, with a cost exceeding $200,000.
The “New York Post” stated that this appears to be an armored version of the Arctic Star Scout XP all-terrain vehicle. A spokesperson for Arctic Star confirmed that the vehicle was manufactured by Arctic Star but had been modified.
Experts commented that from the photos, it is certain that the vehicle is armored, suggesting it was designed for “defense rather than offense.”
However, a spokesperson for the Secret Service did not confirm whether the vehicle was armored or if it was part of security measures to protect Trump.
