A kindergarten on the Kamchatka Peninsula experienced a wall collapse due to an earthquake, with preliminary information indicating no casualties.
Solovod mentioned that an inspection is currently underway for all social institutions within the territory. Should any cracks be discovered that could endanger building safety, residents will be promptly provided with shelter.
The Governor of Sakhalin Oblast, Limanenko, announced that a 7.9 magnitude earthquake occurred near the Kuril Islands, prompting a tsunami warning and the evacuation of coastal residents. (Reported by Wang Bin)
