Following this, Tokyo Electric Power Company issued evacuation instructions to employees at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and stated it would monitor tsunami information to assess its potential impact on the nuclear plant.
According to a statement from Tokyo Electric Power Company, due to tsunami-related information, the company had temporarily suspended the discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station into the sea around 9:05 AM local time (8:05 AM Beijing time).
