# Earthquake Alert # The China Earthquake Network Information Center officially announced that a magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred at 22:14 on August 2nd, in the far offshore of the eastern coast of Kamchatka (51.65 degrees north latitude, 159.60 degrees east longitude).
