Avoiding prosecution of Powell, Trump’s series of “brushstrokes” harshly criticize the Fed’s renovation project.

On August 13th, local time, President Trump suddenly delved into a lengthy discourse on the renovation project of the Federal Reserve building when asked about “suing Fed Chairman Powell”. He criticized the project’s various unreasonable aspects from the basement to the ceiling, claiming that the project originally cost $25 million could have been completed for $3.1 billion, accusing Powell of serious misconduct.
However, in his response, Trump did not directly answer whether he had decided to sue Powell.
