△Zahharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry
On August 18th, local time, Zahharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, called on the UK not to impede the negotiations between Russia and the United States. Zahharova claimed that the UK is not interested in mediating the situation in Ukraine, but is trying to prolong the bloody conflict.
Zahharova also stated that the presence of NATO troops in Ukraine in any form is unacceptable and will lead to an escalation of the conflict. (By Zhang Yueyao, Central Station)
