According to the microblogging news from @China Weather Network, this year’s No. 12 Typhoon LINGLING (a tropical storm, English name: LINGLING; name origin: Hong Kong, China; name meaning: girl’s name) formed on the morning of August 21st. At around 8 a.m., its center was located about 125 kilometers to the northwest of Kagoshima, Japan. It is expected that LINGLING will move slowly southeastward at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will not change much.
